I took my bike to Bryan and he brought my bike back to life. I am very happy with his thoughtfulness and kindness in assisting me with the upgrade. I use my bike daily and it is an important part of my life and Bryan had great respect in that, as well as helping me to understand what was needed. He gave me a honest quote and got the work done as promised. I feel like I have a new bike. Bryan and his shop are honest and dependable, and am looking forward to him helping with all my bike needs. Bryan is a good bike mechanic, and a nice guy. I bought a new Marin belt drive bike, and the drive train was slipping/skipping in the middle gears. The hub adjustment looked okay, and I was dreading a long drive to the northern NJ shop where I got the bike to get it looked at. Bryan took a look for me, and didn’t like the pinch bolt adjustment in the shifter cable. He tweaked it, and I’ve been cruising around uptown now skip free for a few months. Added bonus is a convenient uptown location (right around the corner from my office). Thanks Bryan.
My wife and I took our two vintage bikes in for a Spring tune-up and to have a gear issue fixed, which required that the derailleur be replaced. Both bikes were tuned perfectly and have been running flawlessly. We plan to go back for further upgrades. The shop also carries a sweet selection of new bikes. The owner, Bryan, is a pleasure to deal with. What a great addition to Kingston.
