Small amount of employees saving a part of American history. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The subway car and police car that survived 9/11 were incredible. Museum wants to create a section dedicated to 9/11, so consider making a donation along with your fee to ride the trolley.
Take a trolley ride to kingston point with the kiddo. Fun time.
A cute museum. Not really much to see but the trolley ride was worth it. It ran along the Hudson and some amazing views.
Great ride. Goes to Kingston point and back to Gallo park.
My family and I always have a great time at the Trolley Museum of New York! This is a great destination for children and adults alike. The museum itself has trolleys to explore, photos, and antique trolley parts. There is a movie telling about the history of trolleys as well as model trains to check out! The last Path Car from 911 is on display, and so are a few other vehicles that survived. The trolley ride out to Kingston Point is always beautiful. My children especially enjoy going for rides during Sinterklaas, and were excited to have a guitarist performing the last time we took a ride! This is a little gem not to be missed if you are visiting Kingston!
BTW, they are open on holidays!!
