Beautiful little park with public swimming (with lifeguards), soccer fields, baseball fields, volleyball courts, full playground, tons of parking, pavilion (which you can rent) and a full basketball court!!! great place for a summer day!!!
There's usually not a lot of people there unless there's a party or a sport going on. The playground isn't very impressive but it's OK. They have a pavilion & real bathrooms & grills. Nice big paved parking lot. The beach is a very steep hill with sand & big rocks so it's hard to walk. The lifeguards looked about 14 & wanted money but they usually aren't there anyway. Definitely not my favorite beach.
Marbletown park has something for everyone, a playground, a swimming area. For sports enthusiasts there baseball and soccer fields, a basketball court, and a beach volleyball area. There is a large gazebo for parties. And it is just lovely! Surrounded by farms and the Esopus River, there is a peacefulness at this park that can't be touched, no matter how many rambunctious kids you bring with you.
