I love this restaurant! Santa Fe serves the most fresh, clean Mexican food I've ever experienced. I refer to it as "healthy Mexican ". The dishes are flavorful, colorful & inventive without being loaded down with tons of greasy cheese or sauces. The atmosphere of Santa Fe's restaurants is cheery, eclectic & inviting. The employees are friendly & attentive.
I’ve been a long time customer of David Weiss owned restaurants(Santa Fe Tivoli and Max’s). David always took pride in the customer service and unfortunately that’s where this Santa Fe(Kingston) falls short. Im not sure how hands on he is with this location, if at all. The five or so times I’ve been here the waiters and waitresses have been inattentive, pretentious , and have mastered the thousand yard stare. David always said that people come back for the service, not the food. He was right, won’t be back.
David please fix this place, whoever was left in charge doesn’t know what they’re doing and should go back to greeting me when I walk into Walmart.
Decent Mexican food come out wonderful marguerite as, great deck. A little noisy inside.
Fantastic place to eat. Never too busy and always seated quickly.
Great food, winter time can be a bit cramped (summer time has the patio for overflow). A little on the costlier side.
